Matias Risi, Violetta’s director, joined Casta Diva Pictures USA

Casta Diva Pictures USA is still growing. Another successful director, Matias Risi, chose to sign with the production company owned by Casta Diva Group.

“This is a very important acquisition for us” said Andrea De Micheli and Luca Oddo “Matias Risi is a renown and experienced director. He has participated in more than 450 advertising projects in Argentina, Uruguay, Chile, Brazil, Costa Rica, Mexico, United States, Spain, Germany, Austria, Thailand and China and worked as first assistant director for such directors as: Alejandro Gonzalez Inarritu, Peter Berg, Frank Budgen, Jordan Scott, Armando Bo, Wayne Isham, Antoine Bardou-Jacquet. Among his most important works he has directed the Disney Channel TV Series Violetta; for the same show he has also directed music videos”.

“The recent appointment of Alana Rothlein as Sales Representative for the US / Hispanic market has allowed us to represent Risi as well as other Latin American directors: Franco Verdoia, Flora y Fauno and Marcelo Szechtman” continued De Micheli and Oddo.

Franco Verdoia is a director of features, theater and advertising; he is also a playwright and photographer. He studied film at the School of Professional Cinematography of Eliseo Subiela and worked next to the commercial director Alfredo Stuart.

Flora Y Fauno is a young duo that has been brought on the advertising scene in Latin America with new and fresh ideas and an unconventional style.

Marcelo Szechtman is a director with an extensive: he shot over 400 commercials and music videos. He is well known for his comedic style and for his ability to manage the production of complex actions. He has directed commercials in many countries and has received more than 30 awards among which: Cannes Film Festival, New York Film Festival, Ojo de Iberoamerica. This last award, in 2002, awarded him Best Commercials Director in the US / Hispanic market and Best Commercials Director in Argentina.
